FAFA is currently working on the reviewing the Forest Plan Revision documents.
You will wanto to start with the Draft Record of Decision and then work your way thru each National Forest Land Management Plan.
To be clear, this release style of the plan is very discriminatory in nature to those without means of electronic access to public records, or without means to transport to National Forest Supervisors Offices’/Library to review the documents as those are the only areas the public are allowed to view a hard copy of the plan.
FAFA will do it’s best to complete a comprehensive review of the Forest Plan Revision, but we would ask each of you to review the documents, some 2,000 pages, that the forest service has taken 15 years to develop, and we are only given 60 days to review and comment on, and prepare to object to the plan.
We will be releasing meeting dates for objection writing workshops in the next two weeks, so please stay tuned and let your friends/family know they are coming to a community near you in Eastern Oregon sometime around the first week of August.
If you would like to also read them they can be found online at – https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailf…/…/landmanagement/planning/…
